I’ve always wanted to help others. When I was very young, I looked at my mother, a nurse, with admiration, understanding that she was of use on a daily basis. Then I spent my teenage years wondering what profession would enable me to take care of people in their entirety, taking into account the complexity of life and each person’s background.

It was a shoulder injury that led me to consult an osteopath and, as well as providing relief, my curiosity was piqued: how does it work?

That was all it took for me to enroll at the Collège d’Études Ostéopathiques de Montréal. As my studies progressed, I came to understand that osteopathy was primarily a question of anatomy and biomechanics, with the innovative aspect of seeing the body as a whole and not in segments. I was convinced by the holistic approach advocated, with its emphasis on prevention and helping the body to regain balance.

After graduating in 2019, I travelled through the province in search of a region that would suit me. Having grown up in Beauce, I felt the call of the countryside and the need to get closer to nature. I chose Hemmingford as my adopted home, charmed by the warmth of the people and the market garden landscapes. In the autumn of 2023, I moved into a magnificent century-old house and slowly set up my care space over the winter.

When I’m not treating, I’m probably tending the garden and fruit trees, or watching the birds. I aspire to have the patience to watch asparagus grow
